“Who #said that?” is a phrase often repeated today. It seems everyone wants to repeat what was told them via a #friend, #enemy, #internet, or #news outlet. I am amazed at the distortion of verbiage. It reminds be of the whisper game where one person whispers a thought into the ear of the person next to him and then they pass it on from one to another. The last recipient then says aloud what he heard. The announced sentence was so distorted from the original that it seldom made sense. Sound familiar? This is why I turn to the Bible for truth which comes directly from His Word. Jesus said, “I have not spoken of myself; but the Father who sent me, He gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. I know that His commandment is life everlasting; whatsoever I speak even as the FATHER SAID UNTO ME, SO I SPEAK.” John 12:49,50 Are you listening? “COMFORT YOU MY PEOPLE, SAID THE LORD ” Is.40:1 How is this possible if you have not befriended Him? “We have seen strange things today…even a tax collector named Levi…and HE SAID UNTO HIM – FOLLOW ME” Luke 5:27 Who are you following now? Isaiah 66;23 lets us know God’s Words are true in the past, present, and future…”It shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another shall ALL FLESH COME TO WORSHIP BEFORE ME, SAID THE LORD” Be careful little ears what you hear!
