But #Christians have been invited to abide somewhere else by the Lord Himself. Is the Christian life like a filling station or a home? What is our example of abiding in Christ? What are we told about good deeds done in our own strength? What happens when God’s words become our words? What should our purpose for living be? Is there a reward associated with aligning our will to the Lord’s will?

#”Words, Words, Words, I’m so sick of Words” is a line from the musical My Fair Lady and is relevant for today as we are bombarded with loud -pompous- egotistical- opinionated voices from all media. Where can we turn? John 8:43 “JESUS SAID, Why do YOU not understand MY SPEECH? 46. I SAY the TRUTH so why do you not believe ME? 47. He that is of GOD HEARS GOD’S WORDS” We choose what shows, channels, stations we like and want to hear. I enjoy a good story with a twist or hidden meaning. Jesus was the storyteller Matthew 13:34,35 “JESUS SPOKE TO MULTITUDES in parables.…‘I will open MY MOUTH in parables: I will UTTER things hidden since the foundation of the world” Enjoy reading those parables which GOD SPOKE and listen to His Still Small Voice. “A Word properly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver” Prov.25:11
