#MentalHealth is a big topic these days from the candidates for the #Presidency all the way down to the individuals struggling with #uncertainty, #division, and downright #panic. We know that Satan is the author of chaos and discontent. But, what does the Bible say is the solution to elevating our thoughts? Without first yielding your life to Jesus, this list will only provide temporary relief. For instance, the very first exhortation to focus on what is true, is very hard if not impossible to discern without knowing Christ. The same goes for the rest of this list of thoughts about what is honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. It takes effort to focus on these things because the world is busy shoving the opposite at us.

THE LIVING GOD IS TRUE

Have you ever taken a #test in which you #answer with one word either #true or #false? Living day to day we have so many #questions to answer with multiple choices; however, after much contemplation most come down to a true/false conclusion. Complex yet simple statements such as… Do you love me? Did you lie? We can rationalize over many of the answers or choices we make in our lifetime. Some of our answers affect us that day while others are life changing. There is one answer that has eternal consequences! You choose ….True …or ,,,,False. “We know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding that we may know Him that is true even in His Son Jesus Christ. THIS IS THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE” 1John 5:20 What is your answer? Will it be true or false?

#Life has #breath. In this internet age, stagnant lifeless forms do not hold your attention; yet, what kind of images are you imprinting on your life? I am seeing more statues of idols as background props depicting serenity by association. “Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image; for his molten image is falsehood and there is no breath in them.” Jer.10:14 “But the LORD IS THE TRUE GOD, HE IS THE LIVING GOD, and the everlasting king….the gods have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens. GOD has made the earth by His power, He established the world by His wisdom, and stretched out the heavens by His discretion.” Jer.10:10-12 “LORD GOD formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath off life; and man became a living soul.” Gen.2:7 “The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty has given me life.” Job 33:4 Now that you have been given breath and life by the TRUE LIVING GOD for whom or what do you choose to live?
