Who is the one who shakes the nations? Who goes about as a roaring lion seeking to destroy? What are tools to defend ourselves?

How does #love begin? Someone has to #care! Who says, “I love you first?” The Bible tells us the truth..1John 4:19 ” We love GOD, because HE FIRST LOVED US” “FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16,17 This is the first scripture I memorized as a young girl attending church, but as I meditated on the words, God became real in my soul and I accepted Him into my heart as my LORD and Savior at the age of 9. Even at that young age I knew I was a sinner. and claimed God’s Word in Romans 5:8,9 “God commends HIS LOVE TOWARD US, in that WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS CHRIST DIED FOR US so now JUSTIFIED BY HIS BLOOD, WE SHALL BE SAVED FROM WRATH THROUGH HIM.” I have felt His compassionate unfailing love through sickness, health, joy, sadness, success, and failures throughout my life with my Lord and Savior because THE LOVE OF GOD HAS BEEN PLACED IN MY HEART BY THE HOLY GHOST. (Rom.5:5) Through reading and listening to His Words, I have seen His working ( 5:11) “IF GOD SO LOVED US, WE OUGHT TO ALSO LOVE ONE ANOTHER.” (16) “GOD IS LOVE; AND HE THAT DWELLS IN LOVE DWELLS IN GOD, AND GOD IN HIM” This is the beginning and the end!

We just finished a series of messages on the #HolySpirit. Now we start an informative and necessary series on #Satan or the #Devil. Brother Tommy wanted to inform us about this subject without giving more relevance or power to him. Some people decry even the existence of Satan, but what does the Bible say about him? Where and when did Satan originate? Was he created as an angelic being? Is he eternal? What did Lucifer look like? Is he wise and talented? What is wrong with the caricature of a red ugly demon running around with a pitchfork? What about Satan’s position informs us about the struggle between man and himself over the dominion of the Earth? What was the source of his downfall? What are the limits of his power? What tools have we been given to resist? Why didn’t God prevent Satan’s fall or man’s for that matter?

With the internet connecting us around the world, do you think GOD has always had a instantaneous connection with each of us? I do! If you are not talking to the person next to you, how long has it been since you talked to GOD? “Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer, attend to my voice of supplication. In day of my trouble, I will call upon Thee and Thou will answer” Ps.86:6,7 How many of your calls are returned? Ps.10:17 “LORD Thou has heard the desire of the humble and will prepare their heart and will cause THY EAR TO HEAR” Ps.34:15 “THE EARS OF THE LORD ARE OPEN TO THE CRY OF THE RIGHTEOUS” Who do you want to be in your life? With whom do you want to converse? Do you love anyone? Who listens to you? Ps.116:1,2 “I LOVE THE LORD BECAUSE HE HAS HEARD MY VOICE AND MY SUPPLICATIONS AND BECAUSE HE HAS INCLINED HIS EAR UNTO ME, THEREFORE WILL I CALL UPON HIM AS LONG AS I LIVE.” Make the right call today!

His Internal Ministry – The Pertinence Of The Holy Spirit – Sensing Sins

With great #power comes great #responsibiity – Uncle Ben. What are some things we are warned about concerning the #HolySpirit? What six sins against the Holy Spirit are both Believers and unbelievers told about in the Bible? Everyone has resisted the Holy Spirit to some degree in the past and many still are. What is the end result of perpetual resistance? What is the unpardonable sin? What is the paradox of wondering whether or not you have crossed the line of the unpardonable sin? What are the evidences of it? How can we grieve the Holy Spirit? What does that tell us about Him? What does it mean to quench the Holy Spirit as opposed to grieving?

Hopefully, you have enjoyed this series on our helper, the Holy Spirit. Next week, Lord willing, we will start a series on our enemy, the Devil.
