Are you always #searching for #directions?  I have observed our present #population glued to #technology transmitted over the air waves?  Even walkers have on earplugs keeping them entertained or giving information.  I wonder if they ever #look up? or #smell the blossoms? or #smile?  If you ask a question of someone today they get out their phone and check the internet.  Does it seem that society is being directed and steered by data stored on our airways?  Who is your source in life?  To whom do you turn?  Do you ever read a book today?  Or do you just rely on what is being promoted by prominent individuals to influence your decisions for their personal welfare?  I think it time to read the Word of the LORD for guidance!  If you can’t read then listen to an audio Bible reading while hearing Truth proclaimed.  We all need a guide through the rough dark waters, and even during  the beautiful bright events of our life. Who or What is your source for life directives?  “The Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is His name, Great in Counsel and mighty in work, opening your eyes to all the ways of men; giving every one according to the fruit of his doings.” Jeremiah 32:18,19  God knows all, sees all sooo seek His wisdom and strength by walking with THE LIVING GOD.  “FOR THIS GOD IS OUR GOD FOREVER AND EVER: HE WILL BE OUR GUIDE EVEN UNTO DEATH” Psalms 48:14

#Blood is essential to #life.  Why is it so important to #Christians?  How powerful is the blood of the perfect God/man?  What ritual from the Old Testament was perfectly completed in the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ?  Did Jesus voluntarily shed His blood only for His disciples?  How does the blood of Jesus wash away sin?

Suddenly #No #Power in your #surroundings!  We are all having more setbacks caused by power #outages whether it is no #electricity, #gas, #water, #food, #internet or #leadership.  Where is your power source?  Have you not known?  Isaiah 40 tells all….”Understand from the foundations of the earth that it is the LORD who sits upon the circle of the earth …and brings princes to nothing and makes the judges of the earth as vanity….HE shall blow upon them and they shall wither being taken away as stubble.  Lift up your eyes on high and behold the LORD who has created all things and can bring out the hosts in great number whom He calls all names by the greatness of His Might, for GOD IS STRONG IN POWER.  Have you not heard?  The Everlasting GOD, The LORD, the CREATOR of the ends of the earth – faints not..The LIVING GOD GIVES POWER to the FAINT and INCREASES THEIR STRENGTH.  Even the young shall utterly fall, but THEY WHO WAIT UPON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH.”  The Living God is our “Power, Light, Water, Bread, Fortress, Victor, & Redeemer.”  God’s supply never fails!

Can a #preacher deliver an effective sermon without God’s help?  #Motivational maybe, nice sounding possibly, but not one that furthers the #Kingdom of #God.  What did Paul learn about preaching a clear gospel message?  That should give Believers confidence to share their faith.  Some people may be swayed by apologetics or defense of the Bible, but without a personal connection to Christ there can be no Salvation.  That’s why your testimony is so important, because no one can argue with personal experience.  Paul was obviously courageous, but what was his admitted fear?  How can we lift up God in our everyday conversations?  What is the danger of misplaced faith?

Are you #hiding behind the #web?  Do you spend many hours each day reading and responding to #blogs, #texts, and #news on line?  Would you like a #reliable #source that does not change day by day?  God’s Word in the book of Isaiah chapters 57 through 61 is as relevant today as when it was written.  “Spiders weave the webs which are crushed by vipers – the webs shall not become garments nor cover themselves with their works of iniquity and acts of violence with feet running to evil shedding innocent blood from thoughts of iniquity with destruction in their paths. We wait for light, but hold obscurity while groping in  desolate places.  The HOLY LIVING GOD INHABITING ETERNITY said, ‘I will not contend forever; I was wroth: I HID ME ..  The way of peace they know not…God said, ‘There is no peace to the wicked’  According to their deeds God will repay.  When the enemy shall come, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. (HIDE IN THE LORD as in Isaiah 49:2 “LORD made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the SHADOW OF HIS HAND & IN THE QUIVER OR HIS HAND,  HE HID ME SAYING GLORIFY ME“)  My Spirit and words that I have put in your mouth shall not depart forevermore.  So arise, shine; for light is come and the glory of the LIVING LORD IS RISEN UPON YOU…LET HIS GLORY BE SEEN ON YOU.”

#Downsizing is very popular these days.  If someone asked you to #simplify your life, could you boil it down to one thing?  Remember, wants and needs are two different concepts.  #Maslow developed a #hierarchy of needs that included #basic needs (food, water, shelter, etc.), psychological needs (friends, relationships, accomplishments, etc.), and self-fulfillment needs.  But the Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, ”and my God will meet all your needs according to His glory in Christ Jesus.”  How can that be?  Is this true for everybody?  Why is the wisdom of this world foolishness compared to the wisdom of God and who can gain access to it?  Have you ever noticed how conventional wisdom is constantly changing and the Bible is yet to be disproved?  On an eternal note, God is righteous and we most certainly are not.  How did God provide us a way to reconcile with Him?  Is it a one time event or an on going way of life?
