Who is the #HolySpirit? Probably the least discussed and possibly the least understood part of the #Triune #God. Today, we start a series of messages looking at references to the Holy Spirit and what we can learn from them. What is the first mention of the Holy Spirit in the Bible? Was it in the New Testament or the Old Testament? When did the Spirit of God appear as a dove? Was it more than once? Why would God’s Spirit choose to appear as a dove? What are the parallels?

Now I am not saying communion saves your soul. But, rather the sacrifice represented by this sacrament makes it possible to be forgiven. What do the elements represent? What should communion mean to us? What is our part in this ceremony and what is God’s part?

What effect does #prayer have on the people around us? I see so many people scoff at others that say, “I will pray for you.’ But the Bible says that the prayers of the righteous accomplish much. Did Jesus, the Son of God, pray and did He tell us to do the same? Did Jesus also show us how? For whom did Christ show us that we should pray? How should we pray for them? What did Paul, the missionary, teach us about prayer?

How should we approach others? What exactly is meekness? What does patience have to do with this concept of bearing with one another? Where is a good place to practice this skill? Is love a feeling or an action? Who is our example of forgiveness? Is bearing with one another natural or do we have to work at it?
