Well, have YOU ever had one of those days that __nothing goes right…just impossible situations? Yesterday started out fine because my yard was getting the maintenance it desperately needed. However, after I checked on the lawn-men and payed them, I was talking on the phone when it went dead. My modem had a blinking red light and the phone showed (check service line) So as I was surveyed the premises outside, I notice this powdery sandy substance on the foundation of the house. What now? Got on cell phone to AT&T and Pest Control. After answering many computers, I finally talked to humans! AT&T could service me the next day between 8:30 and 12:30. Pest Control had a possible opening in two days. Now today at 10:00 they both show up at the same time – go figure! Pest controller found carpenter bees at the bottom of a window shutter which he sprayed. The AT&T Tech found the phone line had been cut by the lawn mower or weed whacker! So I have a line lying above ground from the pole to my house until “the line crew digs the trench to bury it in two weeks. The phone and internet are restored (for now). I felt so helpless and totally dependent on the experts in areas beyond my control. While reading the Bible today, I am reminded that we all have limits, but with our LIVING GOD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. Mark 10:27 “Jesus looking upon them said, ‘With men it is impossible, but not with God: for WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.” I would have never imagined that I could share my love for the Lord with all of you around the world through the internet via Find Bible Truth this week, but within God’s purpose all things are possible. Just read about Elizabeth and Mary in Luke 1 and then v.37 “FOR WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE.” Now what about us? “WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”

THE LIVING GOD #PRAYED
Have you ever PRAYED to the only LIVING GOD? As a young child, I was taught in #Church, #Sunday #School, and #Vacation #Bible School by #teachers and #preachers from the Bible about God -the#Father, Jesus Christ -the #Son, and Holy Spirit -the #Comforter being separate, but one GOD. Now in my senior years of life, I am still amazed and in utter awe at GOD’s Omniscient Plan yet Compassionate Love to save us from eternal hell if we only PRAY to the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ asking forgiveness of our sins. Miracle of Miracles then God the Father will accept us through His Son’s sacrificial blood for our sin and then we are given the Holy Spirit to Comfort us into eternity with the LORD. I personally have prayed to God through Jesus Christ asking for forgiveness, redemption, and salvation. I have had the privilege of being with many loved ones as they prayed and asked Christ to take away their sin as they wanted to live life with the Lord as their guide through life. So why continue to pray if your saved? Did Jesus leave us an example of prayer? Did Jesus pray to God His Father? He told his disciples while at Gethsemane, “Sit you here, WHILE I SHALL PRAY” Mark 14:32,39 “again HE went away and PRAYED and spake the same words” (It’s ok to repeat) May all of us be like his disciple seeking the LORD. “…as He (JESUS) was PRAYING in a certain place, when He finished, one of disciples said unto Him, Lord, teach us to pray.…and He (JESUS) said unto them, When YOU PRAY, SAY, ‘OUR FATHER’ WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME. THY WILL BE DONE, AS IN HEAVEN, SO IN EARTH. GIVE US DAY BY DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. FORGIVE US OUR SINS; FOR WE ALSO FORGIVE EVERY ONE THAT IS INDEBTED TO US. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION; BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL.” Luke 11:1-4
THE LIVING GOD #TRIES/PROVES
All of us have had #tests in #school to show our retention of the facts that were relevant to that academic #achievement. What about other unforeseen tests that pop up in our lives? How do you handle the unknown? Blow outs, unexpected illness, storms, floods, and death are just a few of the many trials we face in this life. Where do you turn? Does God test us? What does His Word tell us? Ps. 66:10,11 “For thou, O GOD, HAVE PROVED US; THOU HAVE TRIED US AS SILVER IS TRIED. Thou brought us into the net; thou laid affliction upon our loins.” Moses said unto the people Exodus 20:20 :”Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that His fear may be before your faces that you sin not.” David said in Ps.17:3 “Thou Lord has proved my heart; and thou visited me in the night; thou has tried me.” So now what is your response to the trials? I pray that we will respond to Paul’s plea in Romans 12:1,2 “I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world; but by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
THE LIVING GOD #SATISFIES
#Looking for #perfection? Looking for #Mr. or #Miss #Right? Or do you just want the perfect #pillow? What will satisfy your need? I tell you perfection is within another. “What you talkin about?” you say? I’m talking about JESUS… Ps. 90:14 “LORD SATISFY US in the morning with Thy lovingkindness, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days” This scripture reminds me of the song, “I am satisfied, I am satisfied, I am satisfied with Jesus, but the question comes to me as I think on Calvary – ‘Is my Savior Satisfied with Me’?” The LIVING GOD DOES SATIFY US IF WE CHOOSE HIM – Have you humbly listened and settle eternity by saying YES to JESUS? “For the LORD HAS SATISFIED the thirsty soul and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good” Psalm 107:9
THE LIVING GOD #RULES
My father and three uncles left to fight in WWll when I was a young child. I only heard guarded war reports on the radio after the battles took place. I saw newsreels in theaters where I took the aluminum from the gum wrappers that I made into recycled balls. I learned of death of a soldier from a plaque with a star placed in the window which had been sent from the war department to that family. Today we see war and death 24/7 on internet, TV, and our cellphones. Do we care? GOD DOES! “G O D R U L E S by HIS POWER FOREVER, His eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves.” Ps. 66:7 “We are complete in CHRIST who is the head of all RULE and POWER” Colossians 2:10-15 “having spoiled principalities and powers. He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it” Turning to the Living Lord is the only way to have perfect peace that passes understanding. “Let the PEACE OF GOD RULE IN YOU HEARTS AND BE THANKFUL” Col.3:15
THE LIVING GOD #PEACE
#Chaos, #murder, #wars, #storms, #earthquakes, #politics,#slander, #traffic, and conflict are constantly brought before us through telecommunications if not in our own surroundings. Does it seem that everything is spinning around you? Whatcha gonna do? Who you gonna call? Well, it’s not ghostbusters! As for me and my house, we call on the Living Lord. May I give you His calling card through the Living Word of God today. In John 16:33 Jesus says “Do you believe? These things I have spoken unto you, that IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PEACE. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. 17:3 this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the ONLY TRUE GOD, and JESUS CHRIST, whom Thou has sent. 17. Sanctify them through thy TRUTH; THY WORD IS TRUTH.” You see Jesus tells us in John 14:23 ..”If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” Phil.4:6,7 “…In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God, and the PEACE OF GOD, which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Jesus own words tell us John 14:26 “the Comforter, which is the HOLY GHOST, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you. PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU; not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”
The LIVING GOD #COMPASS
Do you have a compass or Gps? #Tracking your movements, #listening to your words, and #night #vision are all possible today with our advanced technology; however, God has always had this superior ability. How do I know? The Bible tells me so! Just read Psalm 139 “Lord knows my downsizing and my uprising, God understands my thought afar off. GOD COMPASSES MY PATH AND MY LYING DOWN, AND IS ACQUAINTED WITH ALL MY WAYS. There is not a word in my tongue, but the LORD KNOWS IT ALTOGETHER. Thou has enclosed me behind and before..If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall GOD’S HAND LEAD ME….If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hides not from God; but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to thee…My substance was not hid from thee…God’s eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect…How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O God! SEARCH ME, O GOD, AND KNOW MY HEART: TRY ME, AND KNOW MY THOUGHTS: AND SEE IF THERE BE ANY WICKED WAY IN ME, AND LEAD ME IN THE WAY EVERLASTING.”
The LIVING GOD #RESPECTS
When was the last time you observed “respect” being shown? Possibly you saw others respectfully remembering someone at a funeral; however, many of those services have ceased. As a child I noticed all the men tipping their hat to the young and old women as they passed on the sidewalk and if they came to the entrance of a store, the man would always open the door for her thereby showing his respect. Today…many people rush to get there first or let me open the door for them without so much as a thank you. “Respect” Has it flown out the window with our explosion of knowledge? The Word of God tells us who is worthy of HIS esteem. In Exodus 2 the children of Israel were slaves in Egypt when God heard their groaning and remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 25.”God looked upon the children of Israel, and GOD HAD RESPECT UNTO THEM” Are you in your own bondage today? Could it be sickness, strife, wheelchair, depression, relationships, money, drugs, family, work, or unknown? “Though the LORD be high, yet hath HE RESPECT UNTO THE LOWLY; but the proud HE knows afar off. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, God will revive me: He shall stretch forth His hand against the wrath of my enemies, and His right hand shall save me.” Ps.138:6,7 May we learn ‘R E S P E C T’ from the great I AM who is a memorial to all generations.
